The Trans-corridor trek

This will be an authentic journey, an immersive adventure, and purposeful travel experience. 

Known for its dense and rich flora and fauna, this corridor forest linking Ranomafana and Andringitra is an outstanding spot.

Our trek starts at Ambohimahamasina, a village at about 40kms east of Ambalavao for a 5-day real adventure through this beautiful corridor. Ambohimahamasina is quite a developed rural village compared to its neighbour villages due to the presence of electrical power, schools and its agricultural infrastructure. It is also near Ambondrombe, one of the most mystic mountains of Madagascar.
The trek is a mixture of cultural experience and nature adventure from the highland to the eastern slope – in order to reach Manakara – a town alongside the Indian Ocean.

Due to its geographical position, this has an ecotone profile as it has  the savannah of the western part and the forest of the east. 

Hosted by locals in some part will put you into the Malagasy vibes and lifestyle.
After this challenging trek, you will relax by the Indian Ocean side and will visit Ranomafana National Park on the way back and can continue to another destination.

Through this trip, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the funding of primary schools or hospitals if you wish.
