Short journey by private plane to cover the hotspots of Madagascar. This is one of the most efficient ways to visit Madagascar and enjoy its highlights within a short time frame.
The sites visited in this tour program are primarily selected for their unique biodiversity and scenic features.
Due to the state of the roads in Madagascar, these places could be reached quite easily by plane. This is why we use private flights on this tour program: to allow you to enjoy your holiday at a leisurely pace.
Departing from Antananarivo, you will be flying over the Tsingy rock forest and the Baobab Avenue in Morondava. Right after, you will explore on 4WD the Baobab Avenue and the Kirindy Reserve on the West coast.
Getting inland, you will reach Ranomafana National Park by landing in Fianarantsoa, the closest airport. Continuing by a short overland trip on a paved road, you will be visiting the Reserve of Anja – known for its Ring-tailed lemurs – the iconic animal of the wildlife of Madagascar.
Then you will fly down south to Tulear to reach the lagoon of Ifaty – known for its Baobabs and spiny forest. You will then head eastwards and will land in the bush of Berenty to meet the dancing lemurs, amongst other typical animals.
After such active exploration, some lazy days at Manafiafy Bay inside an exclusive estate would be quite rewarding.
You will take the regular flight from Fort Dauphin to Antananarivo and will head eastwards for an overland trip to Andasibe National Park. This park is one of Madagascar’s most famous reserves, home to the flagship species, the Indri Indri, among other wildlife.
This is a short trip, but it will make your Madagascar vacation the most of Madagascar’s nature and wildlife, as this luxury tour covers a major part of the island’s authentic sites.
