Early depart northward to Ambohimanga to visit the King’s palace where one can learn more about the Malagasy origin and culture.
Then visit of the surrounding villages and the father Pedro’s original hotel/restaurant to participate in charity for former street kids and former homeless families currently having houses and hosted at the village of father Pedro’s. It is actually a real success story and now worldwide known for his effort and commitment.
Then head to the Queen’s palace in the middle of town. After the visit, continue visiting the museum of photography. The journey will be followed by some walks downhill through the stone-stairs of the old town. The tea/coffee time in a typical local restaurant will be a real gastronomical experience.
You will then drive out of town to a Malagasy guest house. The evening will be spent around campfire with typical Malagasy dishes.
