Where
the rainforest meets the Ocean.
Composed of equatorial primary rainforest and three
marine parks, the Masoala region
is the largest protected area of Madagascar. It is
one of the top five hotspots for biodiversity in the
world. It contains rich vegetation and eight lemur as well as chameleons.
This rich but fragile marine and terrestrial ecosystem
is worth at least a 4-day-exploration. Masoala National
Park is part of a larger landscape/seascape in and
around
Antongil Bay.
The Marine Reserve is surrounded by a beautiful coral
ref and sfare for marine activities.
Nosy Mangabe island is a part the
park and contains numerous species of biodiversity , home for the world's smallest chameleon. In brief,
Masoala is actually a paradise for nature lovers and
researchers. You will end the trip by some time to
relax in Sainte Marie island.
